Overview

The 72" 72WX70MF-B Widescreen LED Backlit IPS Outdoor Open Frame Display from LG has a bezel width of 1.1" (27.9mm), which allows for easy integration into a kiosk or enclosure. The 72" IPS panel with horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 178° ensures no color deviation and distortion from virtually any angle. In addition, a quarter wave plate(QWP) polarizer for portrait or landscape viewing makes the display viewable even to drivers wearing polarized sunglasses.

The display features built-in fans for optimal ventilation and dual temperature sensors for automatic fan speed control. In addition, resistance to high outdoor temperature (up to 122°F) means less use of active cooling.

The display features a light sensor for automatic brightness control and 10W stereo speakers. It offers support for adding external speakers and has media playback capability directly from external USB storage devices. It also features multiple display inputs including HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI-D, and component video. The PIP (Picture-in-Picture) and Picture-By-Picture features allow for displaying of videos or photos stored in the USB device on a single monitor by dividing them into the main and sub-screens. The PIP mode displays the sub-screen in a portion of the main screen, while the PBP mode displays the sub-screen next to the main screen.
